Going deeper (for ages 14-18)
Two writers worth knowing.
Patrick McKenzie (patio11). Most-respected pricing writer in indie SaaS. Search "patio11 pricing" on Twitter or his blog kalzumeus.com. His core finding: most indie developers underprice by 5 to 10x. The customer's wallet is not the constraint you think it is.
Neil Davidson's book "Don't Just Roll the Dice." Free PDF (search the title). 50 pages on pricing software. Half a Saturday read. He builds on Trout & Ries positioning theory and ties it directly to price.
For Wright specifically, you don't need to go deeper for v1. Set a price. Charge it. Learn from what happens. Adjust in v2. The data from one paying customer beats the data from ten free ones.
