What counts as a real idea
Time: 20 to 25 minutes Module: 1, Coach Reya
You've had maybe forty ideas in the last year. Where are they now?
They're in the same place everyone's ideas go. A graveyard behind your own eyes you can't see. "What if there was an app that..." you said to yourself last Tuesday on the bus. You felt the spike. You went to bed. By Friday it was gone.
Mateo is 13. He lives in Bogotá. He had one idea in 2025 and that idea now pays him $3,400 a month while he's in school. He did not have more ideas than you. He had fewer. He just got one of them out of the graveyard.
This lesson is about how he did that. Specifically, the difference between what was in his head on a Tuesday and what came out of his head by Sunday. That difference is the whole game.
Most of what you call an "idea" right now is not actually an idea. It's a category in a costume.
