The exercise (do this before Coach Reya)

For each candidate idea you have (1 to 3 of them):

  1. Write the customer, age, problem, and bad workaround in two sentences.
  2. Score Reach 1-5.
  3. Score Frequency 1-5.
  4. Score Buildability 1-5.
  5. Add the three.

Save the highest-scoring candidate in module_1_notes.md. Highlight it. Star it. That's what you bring to Coach Reya in the next file.

If your highest is 12+, open COACH_PROMPT.md. If your highest is under 12, sit with it. Maybe go back to Lesson 2. Coach Reya can tell when you walk in with a 9, and she will send you back.

  • The three-question constraint test (Reach + Frequency + Buildability).
  • One candidate idea scored highest. You can name it in one sentence and you can defend the three scores.
  • The understanding that the "exciting" idea is rarely the right one. The right one is the boring one where you have unfair access to a specific human with a daily pain you can ship v1 of in 4 weekends.

When you have that, open COACH_PROMPT.md. Coach Reya is ready.
