If you're 11 or 12

Three questions about each idea:

  1. Can I actually give this to my person?
  2. Does my person have this problem a LOT?
  3. Could I build the smallest version in 4 weekends?

Score each from 1 (low) to 5 (high). Add the three scores. The biggest total is the one you pick.

If none score high enough, that's okay. Look at your Lesson 1 list of five people again. Pick a different person. Run the test again. There's no shame in cycling through three or four candidates. There is shame in shipping something nobody wanted because you didn't run the test.
